Boxing New Brunswick Secures GOLD at the 2026 U17/U19/U23 Nationals in Calgary, Alberta

Dear Boxing New Brunswick, Families, and Supporters,

As the President of Boxing New Brunswick, I want to extend my congratulations to our athletes and coaching staff following the 2026 U17/U19/U23 Boxing Canada National Championships.

Each of you represented our province with commitment, determination, and pride.

I’m pleased to highlight the accomplishments of our medalists:

• Suri Pafford – U19 60kg GOLD Medalist

• Habib Hassani – U23 65kg SILVER Medalist

These results speak to the hard work you’ve put in and the level of talent we’re developing within our province.

I also want to recognize Jacob Vienneau and Omar Nasser for stepping onto the national stage and giving strong performances. Competing at this level is an important part of growth, and your efforts did not go unnoticed.

My appreciation also goes to our coaching team — Head Coach Joe Blanchard and Assistant Coach Aubrey MacLeod. Your leadership and preparation make a significant difference in the success of our athletes and the future of boxing in New Brunswick.

Overall, this year’s Nationals were a clear reminder of the progress we’re making as a province. Thank you all for your dedication and for representing New Brunswick with class and passion.
